Another day out with the family fishing at my buddy Johns place. Kids had a blast.

Kayak Fishing
Took the kayak out this morning for a few hours to test the new kayak anchor mount that I installed last night. It worked great but with all the wind it was hard to get the anchor to settle into floor bed of the lake. I have several more modification to make before its completely the way I want it set up.
I did manage to catch a few nice bluegill but turned them loose as I was more concerned with just getting out on the water with my yak.
Pond Fishing 7/23/17
Took my boys out fishing for the first time today. Both of the twins landed a large mouth bass within seconds of each other, Lil Scotty ended up catching a 12.25 inch bluegill and Devyn got a 10 inch bluegill for his first Fish Ohio.
Cobb Lake 7/2/17
Spent the whole day out on the boat with my buddies Jeff and Dave fishing. Turned out to be a great day as we caught 8 crappie, 32 bluegill and 1 walleye. We had a total of 6 bluegill that measured 9 inches or bigger and Jeff caught the biggest Crappie at just over 13 inches long.
