Raised Pallet Garden Bed

Been working on my first ever pallet project for the garden.. Got to add some more mulch and stones around it but turned out pretty nice. Cool thing about this project is I have a total of around $5 bucks in the whole thing. Everything except the screws was either given to me or re-purposed.

2017 Cast Away Fishing Derby

We held our 2nd Annual Cast Away Fishing Derby today, luckily the rain  held off till after we was done. We had a great turn out considering the weather and all the kids got to catch fish. Special thanks to the MCI Employee Activities Committee for suppling us with food and fishing poles for the kids. I would also like to thank Joe Kessler, Gerry Bowes, Garriet Haines, Jake Brewer, Scotty Fuqua II and Campo for volunteering to help out with this event.

I got the # 1 tag last night around 7:30.  It Weighed in at 3 1/2 pounds. This makes the third time that I have caught the #1 tag after Derby Day in the past twenty or so years.. I think next year big fish should be called Big Gibby.

2017 Bluffton Trout Derby

Another great day out at the Bluffton Trout Derby, The derby started off good as the fish were biting and Jeff’s little girl got 3 trout within the first half hour. It was a cold and windy day and the turn out seemed smaller than years past but we still managed to have a good day of fishing.

Cobb Lake 5/3/17

With the horrible weather we have had for the past week, I finally made it out fishing today over at Cobb Lake. The fishing was a little slow but managed to grab a few nice slabs. Unfortunately the forecast for the  next three days is rain with flood watches already in affect.
