Ingredients:
1-2 green onions, diced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons lime juice and a little lime rind
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon minced ginger
2 tablespoons honey
¼ teaspoon dried Chinese mustard powder
pinch of dried red pepper
canola oil
1 pound salmon fillets, skin on one side, in four pieces
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Directions:
Mix the first 8 ingredients in a bowl. Put salmon in a Ziploc bag and add 4 tablespoons of the soy mixture and let marinade in refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Put canola oil in a stainless fry pan and heat to medium. Turn on the broiler of oven. Place the salmon, skin side down in the skillet and cook for 3-3½ minutes. Finish under the broiler until done, about 3 more minutes. Drizzle reserved marinade and sesame seeds over the fillets and serve. ** To toast sesame seeds, place in a small dry skillet and heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly for a few minutes, until lightly browned.
