After a few weeks without fishing I decided to go out this morning. Had some old semi rotten chicken livers that I tried out with absolutely no luck, not even a nibble, so I switched over to wax worms and went for some bluegill. Bluegill were hitting pretty good as I landed a total of 7 but after the wind and rain picked up, the bite stopped and ended up with 2 keepers for the morning. Made two critical mistakes this morning, the first was I didn’t dress warm enough and the second was I forgot my rain gear and had to call it quits after my hooded jacket got soaked and the wind didn’t let up.
