Headed out to Liberty Lake this morning to do a little bluegill fishing before I planned on heading up the the Maumee River. Ran into a old friend Shawn who was camping out at the lake and a few other guys that just happened to show up. Spent most of the morning catching up with old friends and BS’ing. Needles to say I never made it up to Maumee to fish. I did manage to land 4 nice bluegill and one that was 9 inches long. Fished for catfish all day long and could not get them to bite on anything. I tried chicken liver, live bluegill, cut bluegill and glow worms. After cooking some fish and roasting a few marshmallows I finally made it home a little after 8:00 PM.
