Took a trip over to Deshler today to check out the reservoirs after a buddy of mine told me it was loaded with bass and catfish. I started out fishing for catfish using this bait at WalMart, Ill give anything a try once and thatll be the last time I try that, needless to say I got skunked. I then switched over to my ultralight and a crayfish rig. Started out a little slow and as I worked my way down started to get some nice hits and then they started hitting good. I ended up landing 6 bass and 2 yellow perch and my buddy Ralph landed 4 bass and 3 yellow perch. Didn’t keep any of the bass but kept the perch, which will make a nice sandwich tomorrow for lunch.
