Got off work early and headed over to one of my favorite fishing holes outside of Ada today and it paid off. I started by using a rapella lure and hit a few spots that typical have bass hiding. I landed a nice bass to start off with and then a second larger bass.
After catching a few other small bass i decided to go after some bluegill and catfish. With the temperature being in the low 70s for a high the past week the bluegill were starting to hit pretty good on wax worms and i ended up landing a total of ninefor the day. I also rigged another pole to go after some catfish. I tried using some shad with no luck so i switched over to night crawlers and managed to pull in one hefty channel cat.
