Custom Plaque for my Fish Ohio Pins

I have been chasing after the Fish Ohio Master pin since 2012, after several years of missing it by a quarter or half an inch I finally got my first Master pin in 2016 and have got it again in 2017 and 2018. So after collecting my regular Fish Ohio pins along with a few Master pins I decided to have a custom plaque made to display my pins. Hopefully I’ll be getting a lot more as the years go on and will be able to fill it completely some day.

iBobber Kraken

I have been looking at buying the IBobber Kracken from ReelSonar for awhile since I do a lot of fishing from the bank and today I was able to test it out for the first time.

Setting it up was pretty simple and straight forward, you simply download the free app and install it on your smart phone and follow the instructions or check out some videos on you tube and your up in running in minutes.

To test it, I took it over to Cobb lake and tried several of the functions and it worked flawlessly. I was able to see the depths of the water, the drop off points  and all the surrounding structure.

The fish finder worked great as well as I was marking fish with sizes and depth which helps take some of the guess work out of finding the right depth that the fish are at.

Over all this little portable fish finder is a great addition to anyone’s fishing arsenal. You can visit here to see all the features that are packed into this small portable fish finder.

Fall Harvest 2018

Very small harvest this year for tomatoes as we usually get 20x’s what we have this year, I think with all the rain and crazy weather we have gotten this summer has really affected this years harvest of tomatoes. Our peppers on the other hand turned out really great as we have harvested them several different times this year.

Cobb Lake 9/1/18

Took the boat out today with a few buddies and we got into the crappie again. This has been the best year we’ve had up at Cobb for crappie.
