Took Katie out tonight for her first experience frog gigging. She handled the spiders and everything else that goes with it pretty good. We lost a few in the process but I had a blast sharing this experience with her and my son. She also caught on quick on how to clean and prepare the frog legs.
Want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that showed up to this years Wilder’s Scooters & Shooters for Hooters poker run. Had a great turn out with over fifty bikes participating in the poker run and close to 250 people in attendance.
A lot of hard work went into this event and I would like to thank my cousin Charlie and his wife Nikki Fuqua for putting this all together.
There was live music all day courtesy of some great local bands that performed for the event. The day started out with the Lynnette and Steve Smalley performing followed by the Dave Liles Band and finishing out the day with Never Again, who put on one hell of a show.
I haven’t gotten any word yet how much money was raised yet but when I do ill post here with an update.

Had to cut my fishing trip short today due to a unforeseen incident, I slipped while trying to cross a ledge and fell in waist deep. Luckily i landed on a rock ledge or else I would have been way over my head. Sometimes you take chances trying to find the sweet spots and sometimes you make it and sometimes you dont. Ended up with 8 nice bluegill for the day.
I finally gotten around to making myself a homemade livewell out of a old cooler that my brother gave me. I’m using a Pacific Hydrostar 158 GPH Submersible Fountain Pump that I picked up for around 10 bucks and Aqua Culture 20-60 Gallon Aquarium Air Pump for around the same amount.
