Headed back out this evening over to Bluffton after I got a call from my buddy Jeff telling me that the trout was hitting good. It was a little later than usual but I figured why not. The water was clear with just a light wind out of the west. I tried using power bait and a couple different colored rooster tails with no luck. Jeff landed one on a tight line with power bait. Other than a few hits on the lures the bite had completely died. Ill give it another try there in a few days.
