Hot Mustard Sauce


1/2 cup brown mustard
2 tablespoons corn syrup or golden syrup
4 teaspoons mustard powder
1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper


In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Stir until well blended. Store in an airtight container for at least 4 hours before serving. It is best to allow this to rest overnight before serving.
