Grass Run Creek is just alittle under a 1/4 mile from my house, I often frequent it to go frog gigging and turtle lining. After my trip up the the the Maumee River a few weeks ago I bought five creek chubs for a buck a piece. Well I got to thinking today about it and decided to see if I could catch some of those chubs down at the creek that was so close to the house. I used a small bobber and hook with a wax worm and within 10 minutes had half a dozen of them in my minnow bucket and used a total of 2 wax worms. Also caught several rock bass that I threw back. In the future Ill be getting my chums for free.
