Took a solo trip up to the Maumee River today… tried using creek chubs with limited success. The fish were biting like crazy… Caught about thirty small catfish anmd about the same amount of sheepshead. Over all I got a mixed bag for the day. Landed 3 nice channel Catfish, biggest one going at 26 1/4 inches long. I also cuaght a small mouth bass that went for 15 inches, a 19 inch walleye and a common carp. Finished up the day just in time to make it home for the OSU game.
