Great day of fishing out at Liberty. Landed 4 catfish, 3 bluegill and 2 trout. Only bad thing is that the cottonwood trees are blooming and the lake is covered with their seedling that get onto your line and wreak havoc on your poles.

Went out to liberty this evening to try my luck with some chicken livers. For a cold wet evening it turned out pretty decent as I landed 4 nice channel catfish.

Went out catfishing with my buddy Ralph and nephew Billy on the Maumee River today. Didnt have a spectacular day of fishing as I cuaght 12 carp and 3 catfish but it was worth seeing my nephew haul in 12 nice channel catfish. The water was warm and the current was perfect for a good day of fishing. Unfortunately for me the carp were in full spawn and I couldn’t keep them off my hook. Hopefully when I head back up there in a few weeks the fishing will be better.

Took my nephew Billy out to Indian Lake early this morning and the fog was as thick as all get out. We landed 7 suageye, all of them just under 15 inches. We also landed 6 catfish but only kept 2 of them and we also caught 6 crappie and only kept 1. Although we didn’t land a ton of fish it was a beautiful day to be out fishing.

Went out to Bluffton today to catch some trout. Landed 4 nice ones on minnows. Didnt even get a nibble on corn.
